Reason I love DC #367

I've already posted this on my Facebook, so if you're friends with me this is old news. But one of the many reasons that I love DC is this picture. We stumbled upon this while wandering around the city, and I found it absolutely hilarious. Moral of the picture?: If you park like an asshole, you get a bag of dog shit on your windshield. Hilarious.

While the dog shit topped the list for funniest moment of the weekend, Hubby and I had an amazingly wonderful and relaxing weekend in DC with friends. We went to our first Nationals game vs. the Phillies. The stadium was filled with Phillies fans who were overly confident in their Phillies at the beginning of the game, so it was quite exciting to have the Nationals kick their little butts 7 to 1. Woo hoo!!!

But my all-time favorite part of the game? The fact that you can get $5 beers before the first pitch is thrown. Amazing!!

The game was followed with margaritas, queso, burritos and tacos to fulfill our Cinco de Mayo needs. You can't have a mini-Mexico reunion on Cinco de Mayo without margaritas. It's just not possible.

And it was a beautiful night, so a stroll through the park with plenty of people watching was obviously a mandatory.

Oh, and how could I forget. The next morning we went to a drag queen brunch. The food was only average, but the show was hilarious. One I definitely will not forget. This lady was definitely the crowd favorite.
