Post-vacation

We're back from our little weekend vacation getaway and are happy to be home. I'm sure I've told you, but hubby and I 'won' a 'free' hotel stay in Myrtle Beach. Now, we typically try to stay away from tourist traps, but since it was a free vacation we just couldn't say no.  We accomplished a lot of beach time in our four days there, and I got MEGA sunburned from accidentally falling asleep on the beach for an hour or more. Oops!  Here are some other things we did.


We spent most of our time on The Boardwalk, which had 'fun' tourist things like this gigantor ferris wheel.

We ate and drank most of the day away at the Landshark Bar and Grill. My new favorite drink? The beergarita.   ....I'm not joking. it was DELISH.

We spent a lot of time at the beach and as I mentioned I got fried on the very first day. So I spent the remainder of our beach time in my cute little coverup, under a $30 umbrella, avoiding the sun.

We went mini-golfing.

We visited Margaritaville, where they had a gigantic blender, as well as many other strange food and drink establishments (did I say Myrtle Beach is a tourist town??)

And we overall had a good time. The best/worst part about it all? I didn't take a single outfit picture. So, while I looked adorable, no one gets to see, or remember that. It was actually kind of nice not having to worry about picture taking during our vacation. These nine pictures, are honestly the only pictures that were taken the entire week. Refreshing.

But don't worry, I'll resume taking outfit pictures again tomorrow, with a big smile on my face. :)
